Able Facilities Group is looking for a second shift Team Coordinator to join our rapidly growing facilities services team to help lead our boots on the ground team — an opportunity with real upward mobility to build a long-term career and grow quickly into leadership roles. This is a field-based role supporting customer sites across the North Jersey, Central Jersey, South Jersey, and Philadelphia regions. The ideal candidate is centrally located and able to commute up to an hour depending on the sites requiring coverage that day.

● 💲 PAY: $20/hour (overtime eligible)
● 🕒 SCHEDULE (Baseline): Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Sat 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
Service Support and Coverage
● Lead by example for boots on the ground janitorial staff
● Perform cleaning tasks at assigned customer sites as needed to maintain service coverage, filling in for absent team members or supporting locations with additional staffing needs
● Follow site-specific schedules and procedures to meet Able Facilities Group’s quality standards
● Work a variable schedule across different shifts/locations in the Trenton/ Princeton/ Philadelphia region based on operational needs
● Adjust daily priorities in coordination with the operations team and maintain service continuity
● Assist with special projects (carpet cleaning, floor care, stripping/waxing, post-event cleaning, etc.)
Training and Support
● Help onboard and train new cleaners by demonstrating best practice cleaning methods, safe equipment use, and site expectations in adherence to company standards
● Reinforce site-specific procedures and provide hands-on support for new/temporary staff
● Communicate training needs or performance concerns to leadership
Inventory, Supply, Materials, & Equipment
● Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
● Deliver/distribute supplies, paper products, and consumables to sites as needed
● Keep supply closets organized, secure, and ready for efficient operations and compliant site operations
●Collect launderable materials (mop heads, towels, cloths) on schedule and support laundering/redistribution
● Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment and assist with basic care and upkeep as needed.
Site Readiness, Safety, and Reporting
● Ensure areas are cleaned, secured, and properly locked when working closing shifts
● Follow all safety guidelines (PPE, chemical handling, equipment operation) and site protocols as required to maintain compliance at each facility
● Complete basic checklists/logs and use mobile tools (if provided) to document service and communicate updates
● Participate in brief team meetings or huddles
● Maintain required documentation such as training logs, safety records, and attendance logs
Requirements
● Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
● Flexibility to work second shift and rotate between sites/assignments with minimal oversight (including weekends as needed)
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods (standing, bending, carrying, moving supplies)
● Proven reliability: punctual, accountable, and able to work independently in changing environments
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality; takes pride in excellent work
● Professional communication and interpersonal skills (comfortable in customer-facing environments)
